Services/Volunteering

In addition to my academic and professional achievements, I have been deeply committed to social services and volunteer work, particularly in supporting women’s rights and child welfare causes in Pakistan. My involvement began during my undergraduate years at Dawood University of Engineering and Technology (DUET), where I was an active member of the Dawood Scientific Society and Dawood Literary Society. In 2013, I helped organize an awareness campaign for breast cancer, an issue of critical importance, by promoting the use of pink ribbons in collaboration with the Dawood Sports Circle. During the same year, I played a key role in organizing an event aimed at raising awareness about child labor, highlighting the rights of children and advocating for their protection through the Dawood Literary Society.

From 2014 to 2017, during my time at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), I continued my dedication to social causes by being actively involved in the NUST Scientific Society and NUST Environmental Club, which engaged in various community-focused initiatives. My work with these groups helped promote sustainability and environmental awareness among the student body and the broader community.

Beyond my university life, I have remained an active member of the Shirkat Gah Women’s Resource Centre, a leading women’s rights organization in Pakistan. My involvement with Shirkat Gah has allowed me to contribute to initiatives that support women’s empowerment, reproductive health rights, and legal aid for vulnerable women across the country. Additionally, I have participated in campaigns that focus on improving the rights and well-being of children, collaborating with organizations working to combat child labor and promote education for all children in Pakistan.

Through these various engagements, I have worked on issues that deeply resonate with me, and I remain dedicated to making a tangible difference in the lives of women and children. My commitment to these causes continues to inspire my personal and professional life, ensuring that my efforts extend beyond the laboratory and classroom into the broader societal fabric.
