I have accumulated extensive work experience in various roles within the chemical engineering field, combining technical expertise with leadership responsibilities across several industries. Starting as a Process Engineer at South Chemical Industries (Pvt) Ltd in 2017, I was tasked with evaluating manufacturing processes, implementing quality control standards, and overseeing the management of the manufacturing system. My role included producing maintenance schedules and investigating any issues that arose during production. This position gave me a solid grounding in process optimization and troubleshooting within a chemical plant setting, providing me with critical insights into large-scale industrial operations.

I later joined VieGen Pharma Pvt Ltd as an Industrial Quality Engineer in 2018, where my primary responsibility was to ensure the quality of both raw materials and final pharmaceutical products. I was responsible for conducting inspections and testing to maintain strict compliance with regulatory standards. My role also involved identifying product flaws and recommending corrective actions to enhance the overall quality. I worked closely with quality control teams to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that improved product consistency and reliability, ensuring that we met industry benchmarks for pharmaceutical quality.

In 2020, I transitioned to MAAZ Agro Chemicals (PVT) Ltd as an Assistant Manager, where I was responsible for supervising the procurement and handling of pesticide-related chemicals. This position required a strategic approach to chemical management, ensuring the precise mixing and amalgamation of chemicals to maintain quality control standards. Additionally, I supervised the delivery of chemicals to various branches and stores, making certain that products were delivered on time and in optimal condition. I also took the initiative to organize safety awareness seminars for workers in pesticide manufacturing, focusing on proper handling and safety protocols to reduce workplace hazards.

In 2021, I took on the role of Lab Engineer at Dawood University of Engineering and Technology, where I managed laboratory sessions for several key subjects, including Particulate Technology, Separation Processes, Environmental Engineering, and Instrumentation and Process Control. My duties involved preparing lab manuals in line with the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) system, maintaining and commissioning lab equipment, and delivering safety lectures to ensure that students were well-prepared for lab work. This experience not only enhanced my technical skills in various chemical engineering disciplines but also improved my ability to communicate complex scientific concepts effectively to students and peers.

Since early 2023, I have been serving as a Research Assistant at East China University of Sciences and Technology, where I am involved in cutting-edge research on PVDF/PES composite membranes for wastewater treatment. My work here involves developing hollow fiber and flat membranes with enhanced anti-fouling properties, utilizing advanced material science techniques to improve the efficiency of wastewater treatment processes. Simultaneously, I am working on the development of carbon-based polypropylene foams, where I aim to improve the electrical conductivity, thermal insulation, and mechanical properties of the foams by incorporating carbon-based fillers. This research is focused on creating lightweight, high-performance materials for industrial applications, addressing both environmental and operational challenges.

My work experience, which spans multiple sectors, has equipped me with a strong foundation in chemical engineering, from process engineering and quality control to advanced research in materials science. This diverse background enables me to approach challenges with a broad perspective, utilizing a blend of technical skills and leadership abilities to drive innovation and efficiency in both industrial and academic settings.
